Abstract
There are profitable markets in the less-developed countries (LDCs) of the world. To lump all of these markets together into something called international marketing is a mistake. Profits will be made by those marketers understanding the real differences in each of these markets. This article points out how marketers must adapt their policies and practices to meet the socioeconomic circumstances of national and regional markets overseas.
