Abstract
What is the structure of marketing in the Soviet Union, the world's largest marketing network? Is it radically different from that of the West?
The author supplements his earlier description of retailing in the Soviet Union (see April, 1960, JOURNAL OF MARKETING) with an outline of the over-all marketing structure. The unusual integration of the marketing structure and the government is also examined.
