Abstract
This note presents some information which does not agree with Reilly's law of retail gravitation. The residents of Columbia, Missouri, showed no preference for patronizing the merchants of St. Louis, Missouri, rather than those of Kansas City, Missouri, although according to this law they should have favored the St. Louis merchants by a substantial margin.
