Abstract
An Enhancement Program was offered to 59 elementary special education students for the 1981-1982 school year.
The program was under direct supervision of two Developmental Optometrists who served as consultants to the teachers and administration of the Speech and Language Development Center in Buena Park, California.
The primary objective was to establish a Vision Enhancement Program that would be designed to detect vision problems that directly affected learning and program training, thereby alleviating future problems in educational and social development.
