Abstract
This is a report of a pilot study attempting to improve the performance of learning disabled children on standard testing. Each child was provided with a helper who filled in the IBM answer grid according to the child's verbal answers to the test questions. Comparing the results of these tests with earlier testing without a helper showed a significant gain in scores. Six subjects and three controls participated.
