Four demonstration techniques, simulating receptive difficulties in the areas of visual, auditory and tactile discrimination and impairments in problem-solving and concept formation, have been developed and are described. These techniques have been successfully used in various university courses, as well as in workshops and inservice training sessions with students, teachers and parents.
