Abstract
School personnel, teachers, students and parents need a simplified overview of what is being taught to special class students in order to assure understanding and cooperation between these people involved with special education. This model philosophy consists of general and specific objectives based on the needs of the special education students from primary through secondary grades. The suggested syllabus of courses for special education classes is outlined by level of special class and content area and may be adapted to the needs of individual school districts.
