Abstract
This article presents the interdisciplinary team as a successful approach to diagnosing and correcting learning difficulties. The disciplines represented are Reading, Counseling, and Speech-Hearing. It is suggested that an interdisciplinary team of specialists more nearly matches the organismic theory of learning disabilities than does a single specialist or group of specialists working in isolation. Guidelines for the development of similar programs in other university or public school communities are given.
