Abstract
When we at the Journal of Learning Disabilities decided to include in our first issue an overview of the recent Collaborative Perinatal Study (Page 27) by the National Institute of Neurological Disease and Blindness, we were well aware of the international interest generated by the project. And we could think of no better starting point to demonstrate our own concern for every aspect of the field of learning disabilities.
