Abstract
Working with those who ride the edge of living into dying often stirs powerful and difficult feelings for the therapist witness. This process also allows the opportunity for psychic openness to existential issues of our own mortality, as well as the chance for recommitment to those things we value about living. This article is a description of the author's experience as it evolved, in a creative way, in relation to a client with AIDS.
