Abstract
Dr. Ilene Serlin was a clinical psychologist, a certified dance/movement therapist, and a dancer, who made this difficult world a better place in countless ways. Her influence was far-reaching. She had a clinical practice in the San Francisco Bay area, and also helped people in multiple countries release trauma, lifting their pain through movement and dance. Ilene Serlin worked with political refugees, immigrants adapting to their new homeland, and fought against the prejudice of antisemitism.
