Abstract
The Rocky Mountain Humanistic Counseling and Psychological Association (RMHCPA) was founded in 2016 as a local psychological organization with a commitment to building a humanistic community in Colorado. Since this time, the organization’s mission expanded to include purchasing a building that houses the International Archives of Existential and Humanistic Psychology, the International Archives of Transpersonal Psychology, and its training clinic, the Center for Humanistic and Interpersonal Psychology (CHIP). RMHCPA's vision has, from the outset, deeply embraced diversity, equity, and inclusion, as demonstrated in the constitution of its Board, the themes of its conferences, and the selection of its continuing education workshops. The community focus of RMHCPA has expanded to include local, national, and international involvement and connection.
