This article presents the conclusions drawn as a result of the examination of the effect of the Family of Man social studies program on third-grade children's views of foreign peoples. Included in this report of the Family of Man Evaluation Study (hereafter referred to as FAMES) project are summaries of (a) the rationale of the curriculum evaluation study, (b) its materials and treatment groups, (c) the instruments employed, (d) the findings, and (e) the conclusions drawn from the findings.
