Abstract
As Director of Special Education in the Jacksonville, (Ill.) Public Schools and Editor of Exceptional Children, Ivan Garrison is particularly well qualified to write this article for the JOURNAL OF EDUCATION. He has taught and written extensively on this subject. Fishing, music, and his 9 year old daughter are his chief outside interests.
