Binding constants for methacrylates, acrylates, and miscellaneous vinyl monomers with bovine serum albumin were determined using 2-(4'-hydroxyphenylazo) benzoic acid (HABA). The influence of hydrophobic binding appeared to be more dominant in the bindings of methyl methacrylate.
