An experimental study was made of the setting time and consistency of all elastomer impression materials (mercaptan, silicone, and polyether) in current use in Greece. Measurements were made at temperatures of 20, 25, and 37 C. For each of the 23 materials studied, the rise of temperature from 20 to 37 C lowered the setting time and the consistency of the material.
