In A2G mice, the 131I submandibular gland-plasma ratios were higher in males than in castrated males and higher in castrated males than in females. The 131I thyroid gland uptake was greater in females and castrated males than in males. The submandibular gland 131I uptake curve had its peak four hours after the tracer dose was administered.
