Amalgam adaptation into axial line angles was investigated. Split metal dies, providing line angles of 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90°, were used to prepare the specimens. The area of discrepancy between the packed amalgam and test line angles was measured. Adaptation improved significantly as the degree of line angle increased.
