An examination for oral health status was conducted on 423 Bedouins living in Israel. Caries prevalance was low, and fluorosis was absent. Periodontal disease and dental calculus accretion were moderately prevalent. Soft debris accumulation was great. The relationship between these findings and the environment of the Bedouins was discussed.
