Abstract
This study deals with the simultaneous identification of the thermophysical properties of an orthotropic medium by an inverse heat conduction method. The use of a long heating time instead of a very short flash allows preserving the integrity of some composite materials. The experimental implementation of this process is exposed. Several measurements on homogeneous solids as well as on carbon/epoxy composites are presented.
