Abstract
This paper deals with accelerated aging of different vehicle segment foams such as high and low density passenger cars and truck cushions. These different segments have different durability, density, firmness, and thickness requirements in many cases. This paper explores the difference in vehicle environment, accelerated aging conditions, and the numbers of fatigue cycles, then provides experimental methods to determine complete collapse of foam and to estimate durability of foam systems.
