Abstract
This paper outlines an instructional paradigm which can be used in any learning environment and discusses four instructional strategies that can be employed in the teaching of organizational communication. The instructional system, as defined in this paper, is a collection of people and things that has the purpose of changing the capabilities of a group of stu dents through learning. It is designed to insure that changes in student capabilities take place. Four general methods for developing an instruc tional system are explained and so is the importance of role playing in developing an instructional paradigm for organizational communication.
