The Political Philosophy Continuum possesses broader research possibili
ties than the name implies. Its use in ABCA research has still to be tapped.
This article presents several new applications, the general intent of the
PPC, and its assimilation/contrast effect. Moreover, the problem of cogni
tive dissonance and attitude-behavior interdependency are discussed in
relation to the instrument.
