Abstract
Professor Haneda, a leading figure in the Japan Business English Associa tion for many years, here offers some reflections on international communication from his extensive experience as a teacher and practitioner. Undoubtedly ABCA members have a great deal to learn from our Japanese colleagues who have long been more sensitive than we ourselves to the importance of truly international communication.
