Abstract
Professor Harder proposes that because communication theory tends to be "destination" rather than "design" oriented, it is necessary for effective writing. He suggests that programmed learning texts can handle the rudiments of writing and give the teacher more class time for cases and laboratory study on the total environment of communications.
