This paper describes an experiment designed to improve communication in a managerial workgroup. The experiment involved the use of laboratory (experience-based) education (Bradford, Gibb, & Benne, 1964; Bennis & Schein, 1965) and wvas designed on the assumption that improvement of communication in managerial workgroups enhances task effectiveness.
