Abstract
The author looks at the role of faith in modern exegesis and argues that the eye of faith in exegesis is to be found in pushing beyond present exegetical methods to collaboration with theologians. This would lead to a more holistic and realistic meaning of the Word of God and a revitalization of theology itself.
