Abstract
In this edited version of the Michael Hurley Lecture, delivered to the Columbanus Community, Belfast, on 10 Sept 2001, the author describes not only various practical moves towards unity between the Anglican, Catholic, and Uniting Church communities in Australia, but also various attempts to heal divisions within the Churches themselves.
