Abstract
The organizations touched by Eileen Younghusband ranged from the highest echelons of the United Nations to modest societies reaching back to her settlement days. Because she cared, her involvement in any programme or cause that attracted her concern was complete. The breadth of her interests and the impact of her commitment shine through the messages of appreciation and sympathy reproduced here. Many additional messages expressing grief and admiration have been received, particularly from schools of social work, which, unfortunately, cannot be included because of space limitations.
