Abstract
The news of Dame Eileen's sudden death spread quickly around the world. Notices and articles appeared almost immediately in the British press and profes sional journals. Although the tributes here reproduced come primarily from British sources, they give full recognition to Eileen Younghusband as a leader of inter national as well as national renown.
