The problems of unmarried pregnant adolescents in Nigeria are many and social and psychological in nature. These problems had for long been neglected by guidance counsellors and social workers. The attention of counsellors and social workers is being drawn to the need to awaken interest in this area so that serious effort can be made to change public attitude towards these adolescents.
