Questions of service effectiveness, and helpfulness are challenging social work clinicians, administrators and researchers. Evaluative research, has been utilized to meet this challenge. However, too infrequently the administrator, clinician and re searcher utilize it in separate rather than interlocking pathways. Presented are practi cal suggestions to increase mutual understanding and collaborative evaluative efforts.
