On the fifth week day a large group of all patients was held, followed by a film and discussion. Psychodrama after the small group on Thursday, plus an Alcoholics anonymous meeting that evening, completed the programme. Staff reporting sessions were held after each group.

3,500-4,000 patients per year, i.e., an average of 67-76 per week, compared with, say, North Ryde Psychiatric Centre, admitting about 1,700 patients per year, i.e., an average of 32 per week. Both had' a total of 132 admitting beds, at the time of this study.
