Abstract

The IASSW takes pleasure in presenting a report of a European Regional Seminar sponsored by the Association and held in Edinburgh, Scotland from 10-20 September, 1962. Unfortu nately, space limitations preclude the publication of three background papers presented at the Seminar. It is hoped, however, that readers will obtain from the introductory and concluding statements and the general report reproduced in this issue a sense of the signi ficant questions dealt with in the Seminar.
