The study joins the calls for the ‘authentication’ of social work interventions in ‘real-life contexts’, investigating the potential value of home visits as perceived by minority group social workers in Israel. Data were collected from in-depth semi-structured interviews with 15 Arab social workers employed by local authority welfare bureaus. The findings can encourage professionals in practice, policy design, and training to explore the variety of opportunities offered by home visits for service users’ benefit.
