Despite the widely recognized importance of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in community development, few studies have shown a holistic picture of their diverse aspects. This article contributes to a comprehensive understanding of community development NGOs by examining their strengths and limitations and by suggesting strategies to improve their performance.
