Abstract
Community development (CD) has a long tradition of crossing borders through initiatives that transfer lessons across them. Some of these have been mutually bene.cial. Others have not. In this article this transposition of CD models is problematized, together with a consideration of how such exchanges might avoid becoming exploitative and/or disrespectful of local needs.

Otras no lo han sido. Aquí, se problematiza esta transposición de los modelos de desarrollo comunitario y se considera cómo puede evitarse que estos intercambios se conviertan en expoliativos y/o irrespetuosos con las necesidades locales.
