Visualization of characteristic equations describing guided waves
The article describes the 2D and 3D visualization of characteristic equations associated with waves supported by various guided structures at microwave, mm wave, and optical wavelengths. The graphical facilities of a PC are used to ease the abstract mathematical burden that students find in such problems.
