Computer-controlled induction motor drive for teaching purposes
A digital-computer-controlled variable-speed drive with 1.5 kW induction motor has been designed. The commercial squirrel cage as well as solid steel rotors have been applied. The load characteristics for speed control (open and closed-loop) have been presented and discussed.
