An interdisciplinary group-project module for an undergraduate course in electrical/electronic engineering
The group-project integrates the teaching of technical and business skills in a team context. Groups of five students design and construct an electronic device for manufacturing and marketing at a profit. Business plans and promotional material are produced. The module generates a high degree of student motivation.
