Two types of Texas Instruments TMS320 signal processing microprocessor have been used by the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Birmingham, in over 50 B. Eng. final year projects since September 1985. The software/hardware development facilities and the wide variety of applications in projects and problems encountered are described.
