A new technique for measurement of B/H characteristics of annular permanent magnets
A simple technique of B/H measurements on hard magnetic annuli is described. The flux density is still measured using a search coil wound on the specimen, but the corresponding magnetising field is extrapolated from the field about the adjacent surfaces. Results of test on a thin Vicalloy-I annulus are given.
