Output feedback controller for improved dynamic stability in power systems
The design of controllers to improve dynamic stability of a single machine infinite-bus power system is described. The controllers are so designed that only some or all of the closed-loop system eigenvalues have pre-assigned locations in the s-plane. The effectiveness of each controller thus designed is evaluated using a non-linear test.
