The problem of determining the shielding effect of multiple concentric, circular, cylindrical, conductors, in a longitudinal, pulsating, field can be greatly simplified by using a non-linear transmission line analogue. The use of Bessel functions is completely obviated. The analysis is straightforward, no accuracy is lost.
