This experiment uses a processor originally developed as a solid-state substitute for relay logic controllers. The repertoire of sixteen instructions perform logical operations on a one-bit bidirectional data bus. The simplicity of the instruction set and device structure make it a useful instructional vehicle for microcomputer concepts.
