This paper reports on a pioneering venture in Electrical Engineering Education; the setting up of a five-year degree scheme for students from West Germany, France and the United Kingdom. The paper outlines the philosophy, objectives and structure of the scheme which starts in October 1980. Details of the planning phase are also given.
