A source of continuous-wave power at 10 GHz is amplitude modulated by signals in the audio frequency range. The modulated signal is transmitted, as a beam, between paraboloids set 10 m apart in the laboratory. Faraday rotation, the modulation and demodulation processes and the link are discussed in terms of a demonstration and class experiments.
