Two design aspects of minicomputer organization are treated from the viewpoint of a senior undergraduate course. The first is purely serial organization — while the second machine uses a parallel or unibus organization but has the same instructions as the serial machine.
Both these designs have been implemented as student projects and have been used for some additional experiments involving peripherals and interfaces.
