Abstract

We are delighted to announce that The International Journal of Electrical Engineering & Education (IJEEE) is now open for submissions. It has been a challenging few years for the journal but, with our dedicated readership, we will endeavour to serve the research and educational electrical engineering community for many years to come.
As Executive Editor, I been analysing the journal’s historic content and I recognise the unique and important contributions IJEE has made. Since 1963, it has stood apart as a forum for educators in electrical engineering to share their experiences and rigorously tested pedagogic approaches. We have adjusted the scope to include research in electrical engineering, further serving the advanced community that our readership represents.
In 2024, we will be focussing on that service: we will be publishing only the most impactful, rigorous, and instructional content; we will be refreshing our editorial board to help us align with the current challenges facing researchers and educators in electrical engineering; our peer review will, of course, be robust and timely.
For more details, you can visit our homepage, where you can find our aims and scope, information for submitting, and any other information for prospective authors or returning readers.
I am genuinely excited at the prospect of the journal’s refresh: its fascinating content – and its important community – needs a home, and we intend for IJEEE to be the first port of call for anybody interested in electrical engineering and its education.
