Abstract
As a regular part of its activities the Institute responds to consultative and discussion documents prepared by government departments, educational bodies, professional institutes and other organisations in relation to the profession of engineering and, in particular, measurement and control. Sometimes the views and comments of the Institute are sought by special invitation, at others the Institute responds as a result of a general issue of a consultative document.
It is the intention of the Institute to provide information about any such responses in InstMC Interface as soon as it has been made. Obviously the Institute's newspaper is not the place for the detail of any submissions and, where relevant, full details will be published in Measurement and Control.
In the first issue of InstMC Interface in April, there was a brief article on the Institute's response to an ACARD Working Party. The full details of the response to this Working Party appear in this issue of Measurement and Control.
